You're new. What if Casewise doesn't make it?
Fair question, and we would rather answer it than have you wonder. Casewise is operated by Code Venture Pty Ltd, an Australian company with an ABN you can check. Your data is yours: full export whenever you want it, not only on the way out. No lock-in contract, no setup fee, no exit fee. If we stop earning the subscription, you should be able to leave with everything. It's in the terms.
Where do my client documents actually sit?
In Australia, on AWS, encrypted, with role-based access so a consultant sees their matters and not the whole firm, and an audit trail on every file. Built with the Australian Privacy Principles in mind. The full detail is on the security page — worth five minutes before you hand anyone a passport scan.
Switching systems mid-caseload sounds painful.
Most agencies don't move everything on day one. Run new matters in Casewise while the files already in flight finish where they are, and the changeover happens on its own. Enterprise includes data migration support if you would rather bring the history across in one go.
Will this make my practice compliant?
No, and be careful with anyone who says otherwise. Casewise keeps structured, auditable records that make demonstrating your process far easier. Registered agents remain responsible for their own obligations. We will not market around that.
What if my team won't use it?
